About Our Company
At MNM Foundation Inc., we believe that no one should be left without shelter, dignity, or hope. Founded with a mission to confront homelessness head-on, we’re a nonprofit organization devoted to transforming lives across Florida, especially in the heart of Tampa Bay in Pinellas County. But we don’t just offer temporary relief—we create lasting change. Through direct action, community partnerships, and unwavering compassion, we work tirelessly to meet immediate needs while building pathways out of homelessness. Every day, we fight to empower individuals, restore their sense of worth, and bring communities together in a shared commitment to end homelessness for good.

Mark Houck's Story.
Sometimes we have to find the bottom of the pit before we know which way is up. Mark's bottom of the pit was when he found himself in jail. It was there he saw firsthand the struggles people faced—some couldn’t read, others couldn’t speak English. He decided to do something about it by helping those around him however he could.
Upon release, Mark’s first priority was finding work, and he was fortunate to be hired by a veteran-owned business that took a chance on him because he was also a veteran. That one opportunity transformed his life. It showed him the power of a helping hand, and from that moment, his purpose became clear. Helping others became his mission and his passion.
Since then, Mark has dedicated his life to lifting others up in the way he was lifted up. Wherever he finds people in pain, he steps in to help. Their pain became his pain, their struggles his struggles. He now lives his life by these words: “If I see someone hurting, I have to do something about it.”
Mark’s belief is simple yet profound: if you have the capability to help others, why wouldn’t you? Empathy is everything, and every person has value, no matter their past mistakes. Mark’s mission, and the foundation’s guiding principle, is that the world is a better place because you’re in it.
